The look you give yourself in the mirror
When you feel you deserve it
The feeling you get
When someone looks your way
We all feel vain
Fell good about our looks
We all feel we deserve
Some sort of acknowledgement
Would be nice
For the work we put into looks
But no.
Never.

However,
the looks we get from people
Humble us.
How do we feel
We have to right
To feel beautiful?
When we're the elephant
In the room?
